Therapeutic Services
Counselling is a process that helps individuals deal with personal and emotional issues. It can be beneficial for people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and other mental health concerns. Counselling provides a safe and confidential space for individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings, and work towards finding solutions to their problems. The benefits of counselling include improved self-awareness, increased self-esteem, better communication skills, and a greater sense of overall well-being.
There is no one-size-fits all approach when it comes to therapy which is why I use a variety of therapeutic techniques to support you on your journey to better mental health.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT is an evidence-based therapeutic method that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviours, by replacing them with positive thinking patterns. CBT is an effective therapy for managing anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns.
Person-Centred Therapy
Person-centred therapy is a type of talking therapy that focuses on the individual's unique experience and perspective. This approach creates a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings to identify and achieve your goals in a supportive and empathetic environment.

Psychodynamic Therapy
Psychodynamic therapy focuses on exploring unconscious thoughts and emotions to explore and understand behaviours and relationships. It is based on the idea that past experiences and unresolved traumas can influence current behaviour and emotions. This therapy aims to provide a deeper understanding of your unconscious self and supports resolving inner conflicts.
Schema Therapy
Unlike Psychodynamic therapy, Schema therapy uses a combination of cognitive, behavioural, and experiential techniques, to identify and change negative patterns of thinking and behaviour. It is based on the idea that many of our emotional difficulties stem from early life experiences and the "'schemas'', or deeply ingrained patterns of thought and behaviour, that we develop as a result.
